On Remote:
Bridget spends some time with the cast of Little Me. Its the musical for anyone whos ever had a dream! Join MacEwans Theatre Arts and Theatre Production programs as they present the Tony Award winning show Little Me beginning October 23, 2009 in the John L. Haar Theatre.
Opening on Broadway in 1962, Little Me is a frothy hilarious tongue-in- cheek musical of a movie stars rise to fame and a look back at all the men who helped get her there. Maybelle Schlumfert is an overdeveloped and self-deluded girl who rises to become Belle Poitrine (French for pretty bosom), a woman of wealth, culture, and high society. A whirling musical burlesque, this show follows Belles epic romances and ascendance over the bodies of husbands, lovers, and acquaintances who come to untimely deaths in her vicinity. Great songs like Ive got Your Number, The Other Side of the Tracks, and Little Me, will have audiences humming all the way home.
